Charlie Bigard-Ong
Hong Kong

Originally from France, Charlie has been a wealth manager in Asia for 16 years.

Based in Hong Kong since 2014, she has held client-facing roles at Swiss-Asia Asset Management, an independent wealth manager, and at LGT-ABN AMRO private banks. She started her banking career in Singapore at Fortis-MeesPierson, subsequently moving to Bank Julius Baer and Schroders Private Banking.

Charlie is the director of The WAG Ltd, a consultancy entity, and is a wealth advisor at AOP Capital, a licensed wealth management firm.

She is a candidate in the 2020 French Consulat Advisors election to represent the French community in Hong Kong. She is a member of WiFA, the Women in Finance Asia and, while in Singapore, she was a member of ACI Singapore – The Financial Markets Association and the Certified Financial Planning Association.

Since young, Charlie has always been interested in entrepreneurship and community building.

Audrey Chan
Hong Kong

Audrey is a philanthropy and nonprofit professional, leveraging development and effective communications to help contribute to sustainable social impact. Starting her ‘non-profit’ journey in college, Audrey joined a poverty experience program. A life-changing moment, she decided to work for nonprofit organizations since then.

Audrey has expertise in fund-raising, in particular for small and early-stage charities – covering issues from youth leadership to modern day slavery to eye surgeries. Her work focuses on ensuring charitable organizations are supported in the work they do and has access to sufficient financial resources.

Audrey is a natural storyteller with a passion to help others. Driven by a strong believe that nothing is too small to change to make the world a better place, she also has a strong commitment to advancing responsible investment as a powerful means to empower those to drive change.

Robyn Evans Cunningham
Hong Kong

Robyn has a broad financial sector background that straddles global banking and finTech. She is based in Hong Kong and manages Operational and Compliance Risk at a blockchain and crypto asset trading services firm. Since moving to Hong Kong in 2015 she has consulted to a social media analytics startup, a UK based blockchain start-up focused on sustainable supply chains, and directed strategy and operations for an early stage wealth tech startup.

Prior to that she was an emerging markets specialist at Standard Bank in London. During her 11-year career at Standard Bank she led teams managing multinational client relationships across sub-Saharan Africa and worked on a number of pioneering multimillion dollar transactions in infrastructure, agribusiness and commodities in the region.

Throughout her finance career she has sought, in a voluntary capacity, to promote education, financial inclusion and sustainable investing. She has been a Trustee for the UK Fund for Charities, Trustee and Secretary for the Financial Forum UK and is currently a member of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong’s Financial Inclusion Committee.

Robyn has an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University. She is Non-Executive Chairman of the Rhys Evans Group, an agribusiness company in South Africa.

Jessica Liu
Hong Kong

Jessica is the founding member of Planto, a HK based data-driven fintech startup changing the way millennials manage finances through using Big Data and A.I. Prior to Planto, Jessica was a private equity and financial advisory professional at YCP Holdings Limited and a Management Associate turned Vice President at HSBC’s International Corporates division. At YCP, she was involved in multiple principal investments, M&A transactions and strategic expansion projects for clients in the retail, fintech and healthcare sectors across Asia.

Born in Singapore and originally from Taiwan, Jessica grew up in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong and graduated from The University of Hong Kong in BBA (Accounting and Finance). She is active in several women’s advocacy initiatives, especially in the realms of fintech and financial inclusion. She is a member of Women in Tech HK and used to be the lead singer of a post-rock band.

Natalie Marko Nietsch

Natalie has been working in the global financial markets with a focus on Fixed Income products for over 12 years. She started her career on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she worked with top asset managers and hedge funds to create cross-asset portfolio solutions. Over the course of her sales career, she developed an expertise in volatility products, and she worked at Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Credit Suisse to build larger sales businesses around these products. After over a decade in sales, Natalie joined Citi in 2013 to focus on business strategy, and in 2015, Natalie moved to Asia as the Head of Client Strategy for the region.

In conjunction with her professional work, Natalie is involved in several women’s advocacy initiatives across the region. She is a co-chair of the Steering Committee for the Women’s Network of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and is a mentor with the Girls in Tech organization. Natalie is a graduate of the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Finance.

Melanie Osborne

Melanie is a brand and integrated marketing strategist, with over 20 years’ experience devising in-house marketing campaigns for global brands, as well as leading multi-discipline agency teams to deliver award winning work for MNC and start-up clients alike.

For the past decade, Melanie has advised senior executives within the financial services sector on their corporate brand, integrated marketing and digital transformation strategies to help grow their businesses. She is currently the founder of Legato Asia; a full-service marketing agency working with clients in the financial services, professional services and tech sectors throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Originally from Adelaide, Australia – Melanie has spent the past 12 years living in Hong Kong and Singapore, where she currently resides. Melanie has a B. Economics from the University of Adelaide, and is passionate about sustainability and driving financial literacy among women.

Avril Parkin
Hong Kong

A technology leader, mentor and speaker, Avril Parkin is Co-Chair for the Big Data Committee, FinTech Association Hong Kong. She is a global IT professional with more than 20 years of experience, 15 within the financial services industry. Focused on sharing insights on Emerging Technology themes, from Big Data to Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology and Digital Transformation.

Avril started her career in Network Engineering, Service Management and then Solution Sales. Due to her passion for learning and sharing, she is actively involved in various industry groups, including, ASIFMA, FIX Trading Community and the British Chamber of Commerce (Vice-chair, Innovation and Technology Committee).

Victoria Shapovalova
Hong Kong

As a Sustainability Analyst, Victoria has a deep understanding of gender issues in the corporate world and how businesses can better support women in their professional journeys. Passionate about empowering women through skills development and financial independence, Victoria is a co-host of the Hong Kong Lean In Chapter and a member of several mentoring initiatives.

Originally from Moscow, Russia, Victoria has lived in Hong Kong for almost a decade. With a degree in biomedical engineering, she worked in environmental and occupational safety consulting for the Oil and Gas sector prior to her current job at EcoVadis. In her role, Victoria analyzes the corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance of global supply chains, working with documentation in Chinese, Russian and English. In her spare time she is passionate about supporting initiatives on gender and sustainability issues, running the Hong Kong Book Club and raising a family.

Being a Moxie Future Ambassador gives Victoria the opportunity to combine her professional expertise in corporate social responsibility CSR and sustainability with her mission of empowering women by providing them with the knowledge and the confidence to make better financial decisions.
