About the podcast

Jessica takes us on a trip that spans from London, to New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, all the way to Dubai, sharing all the challenges and victories she’s faced all along the way.  Jessica has worked in consulting, where she had to assimilate into the industry’s boy’s club to climb up the ladder. She then moved to Beijing where she changed her career due to an identity crisis after becoming a mother and finding herself without a job. Jessica ended up gravitating towards responsible investment, creating a platform that will engage and empower women to think about their investment and financial decisions. About Who Run The World Podcast Series

Focusing on the Middle East, their goal is to understand what it means to be a female leader in the workplace. Each woman’s story is unique to their own journey. Some are fraught with challenges and gender discrimination, while others filled with other kinds of challenges that have nothing to do with gender. Through the narratives of female leaders, they hope to reclaim the female narrative, provide role models to young women, and show the world that women from the Middle East come in all shapes and sizes, each one with their own unique story that make up a rich and complex mosaic.
