Corporate sustainability reporting – is it a huge waste of time?
Over recent years we have seen a massive increase by companies in the level of sustainability reporting. Much of this has been driven by reporting requirements from stock exchanges across the world, many of which now require listed companies to report on environmental, social and governance practices. Moxie Futures Founder, Jessica Robinson, has been closely involved in progressing the quality of sustainability reports, including as a member of Hong Kong’s MTR’s Expert Review Panel (See the MTR Sustainability Report 2015). many sustainability reports fail to connect with a broader audience, and smart investors are using other sources of information to understand the sustainability practices of the companies they invest in.
